Well, he did the theme, but this is the first Spider-Man movie he's not doing the score for.
Apparently him and Sam Raimi never agreed on the music for the first two movies, so Danny Elfman quit for this one, but they still have the rights to the theme.

Ah...
This now makes Venom's second appearance in a trailer right? The whole alien symbiote never worked for me and the cancer suit was on the right track but was still wierd... Wonder how Raimi's going to pull it off here...
