Ok. If you look at marvels orignal chavters some are kinda like classic monsters.
Spider man biten by something turning him into it=
Wolf man or wolf.
Banner is turned into a monster by a serum or bomb+
Jeckyle and Hyde
Its crazy i know but there simaler.
