I know I haven't been around alot but this is the biggest comic book movie of all time. Amazing performances all around and of course the Joker.
I haven't even saw a thread for it on our forum so I figured I'll start it.
It's my favorite movie hands down. And not because it's batman but because of the quality of the film making. This movie felt like a crime drama more than a super hero movie to me and batman was just a high tech cop. Amazed me the whole time.
From the opening bank robbery scene, the pencil trick, batman's human nature i thought it was done to perfection. Saw the midnight showing and saw it again. I read it's being rereleased in Imax in january and I'm going to see it then. The DVD from my understanding (source blockbuster) comes out in December. So I'm a tad bit late but I'm sure people are still eager to talk about this classic. |

Oh, hell, yeah... It was like a Martin Scorsese-esque thriller filled with little details that made the entire production masterful...
Also, it might get re-released on Heath Ledger's unfortunate deathday, which is in the same week as my Frazzel Snazzel... _________________ Proud Member of The Ultimate Marvels!!

Yup - it's instantly up there in the list of movie greats.
The best parts, in my opinion, were all the scenes involving Joker and the mob. Like the Joker's intro scene, or when he's burning all the money. He really seemed intimidating. _________________ PROUD MEMBER OF THE ULTIMATE MARVELS!!!!

I agree with Rob. The story and all that was amazing but, the film making, the shots and styles were just epic. _________________ CowBoy From HEll

What's great is here at temple university we have our own theater and like a month after the movie leaves theaters we get it and tickets are 2 bucks im deff going to see it again and it's 4 for visitors. on the weekends the movie theaters in philly and the surrounding area charge 10 bucks. Though the one mall has a great deal mon-thursday nights 5 bucks but the theater is crappy compared to the other mall.
I can't wait to get the DVD i'm actually ok at impersonating the joker I may throw up some videos if i ever get around to it. In 09 im being him for halloween so by then i'l have him down perfect get my acting rep up haha. |
